"Dicke Luft in der Gruft" is a shrewd retention game for grisly friends with an excellent memory.
The game design provides sixty sleeping places for vampires. Each of these resting places is closed with a grave lid of which the underside is marked in colour. The players try to protect their vampires against the approaching daylight by finding them a crypt of the matching colour.
Because the rush is huge, the unoccupied crypts rapidly become fewer. It is therefore important to remember carefully which sleeping places are still unoccupied. Vampires mistakenly select an occupied crypt have to content with wooden stakes and the ratty renegades of the other players. In addition they, with thievish pleasure, try to keep the overtired vampires from sleeping with the help of garlic cloves...
Whoever arrives too late is punished by the sun. Only the player who gets all his vampires in a crypt on time will be the winner of the most spine-chilling retention competition since the invention of false teeth!
