65 partly bizarre but always attractively shaped building blocks. BAUSACK – introduced to the market 20 years ago

Klaus Zoch introduced the “Bausack“ to the market 20 years ago. Its nu-merous building blocks belong in every architect’s office and in the hands of every construction enthusiast, young or old. It was on the “selection list for Game of the Year“ in 1988 and was recommended as a “Good Toy“. Although the more than 65 partly bizarre but always attractively shaped building blocks, some of which are new, are still in a linen bag, this now comes in an elegant games box.
The “Bausack“ was also the starting signal for the formation of the Munich game publishing house Zoch. At the time CEO Albrecht Werstein saw a lot of building blocks at the author’s home. “More of those must be produced“, he thought to himself, and over dinner the two school friends founded their publishing house, which is also celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
