Munich, February 1, 2010
From February 1, 2010 the Zoch GmbH, Munich known for its creative and award-winning game ideas will be part of the Simba Dickie Group, Fürth. Under the umbrella of Noris Spiele the Zoch brand will continue and expand further.
As CEO Albrecht Werstein says “this step was necessary to reinforce our strengths like product quality and creativity. For some time now I have been on the lookout for a large partner to also be able to realize ideas which would not be possible in a small publishing house.”
The business premises of the think tank, creative workshop and seat of marketing will still be in Munich. With immediate effect goods procurement, logistics and sales of the Zoch game product range are in the hands of Oswald Hertlein, CEO of Noris Spiele. Werstein hopes that “thanks to the backing of the Simba Dickie Group there will be greater opportunities for the Zoch brand“, which was launched 22 years ago with the classic “Bausack” which won many awards. Improved distribution should increase brand recognition even further. In future Werstein and Hertlein not only want to realize new game ideas but also to develop innovative concepts for leisure and exercise.
