On all-terrain vehicles through dense jungle

Adventurous treasure hunt: Tobago
Tobago, an adventurous treasure hunt
october 4, 2009
Treasure hunt at the wheel of all-terrain vehicles - “Tobago“ is the new board game by Zoch, available in stores now. The intoxicating adventure game whisks you away to the Caribbean, to the island of forgotten treasures, which are waiting to be discovered. Torn fragments of a treasure map should help you in your search – a complex undertaking.
To find and raise a treasure the players rely on their all-terrain vehicles to cross dense jungle, scale rocky heights and ford raging torrents. Once the treasure has been found it is distributed between the player who found the treasure and players who provided valuable clues about the treasure site helping to narrow down the search. Amulets protect players against imponderables like the curse of the island, which is hidden in some treasure chests. The player with the most gold coins at the end wins the game.
The game board is a novelty: A wide range of game board options ensures that no two games are alike. The board is divided into three sections with different fronts and backs and these can be shifted one field and held together using three connectors, creating a total of 32 different island scenarios.
“Tobago“ by Bruce Allen for two to four players ages 10 and up is an original treasure hunt with attractive playing material and the atmospheric graphics common to all games by Zoch. Exciting moves and a sophisticated mechanism for distributing the treasure are simply waiting to be discovered.
