Mais quiconque s’y enrichit ne peut en repartir que lorsque tous les autres joueurs ont déjà embarqué tout ce qui restait à prendre au port suivant. When it’s your turn, you try to roll four identical numbers. However, if you throw three ravens, your turn is over and you only get a marble stone token. These "frustrations" cost you a good chunk of points in the end but can also be used to your advantage during the game. Pay them to reroll your dice or to force another player to reroll theirs. Worst/Best of all, everybody can also steal points from their favorite opponents.

Les noix de coco sont à utiliser avec parcimonie comme des armes de jet permettant de s’imposer contre les concurrents. Mais chacun ne doit pas compter que sur les autres singes comme source de problèmes. Les perroquets voraces, tout aussi friands de bananes, viennent jouer les trouble-fête. La lutte continue jusqu’à ce que la toute dernière banane – qui promet d’être noire et pâteuse – trouve preneur auprès du plus offrant. Quand tous les joueurs ont rassemblé leurs provisions, le festin peut commences. Mais attention : seuls les fruits trop mûrs peuvent être consommés au premier tour. Les bananes jaunes et vertes doivent d’abord être stockées comme provisions et ne peuvent être consommées qu’après deux ou trois saisons de récolte. Après les échauffourées de la troisième et dernière saison de récolte, les bananes vertes sont maintenant parfaitement aptes à la consommation. C’est alors que l’on détermine celui qui a réussi à éviter d’accumuler trop de fruits non mûrs et à s’approprier le plus grand nombre des meilleurs bananiers, qui déterminent le vainqueur. « Reif für die Insel » est un jeu de cartes trépidant pour 3 à 6 joueurs âgés de 8 ans et plus, qui ne lésinent pas sur les noix de coco pour orienter les bananes les plus savoureuses là où elles doivent être : dans leur propre bouche.
