CrossBoule Set DOWNTOWN

CrossBoule Downtown takes boules into the 3rd dimension with soft fabric boules that can be thrown far beyond a flat court. Benches, stairs, shelves and open ground all become part of the line of play, so each round builds its own route, angles and landing spots around the target boule. The Downtown set is designed for 2 players and uses squeezable boules instead of rigid ones, which changes how the game interacts with the surroundings. Asphalt, sand, meadow, water and snow each create a different response after the throw, so placement and distance need constant adjustment. The rules add special combos for extra points, giving accurate throws and smart positioning more ways to shape the score. A match is won by taking 2 sets, with each set played to 11 points, which keeps the structure easy to follow while still leaving room for tactical shots. That mix of soft material, open terrain and fixed scoring makes CrossBoule Downtown easy to bring into parks, courtyards, playground edges or holiday settings where a standard boules lane is not available. Short aiming duels on steps, longer throws across grass and improvised targets in changing weather all fit the same set and the same rules. Ages 6 and up
