Crossboule Set LIMITED EDITION
601105235€29.99
Crossboule c³ Limited Edition takes boules into a more dynamic setting with flexible fabric balls that hold their position where classic metal balls would keep rolling. That single change opens the game to stairs, walls, hills and park benches, so each round can use height, edges and surfaces as part of the course. For ages 6 and up, the set brings movement and tactical play together in a format that works indoors and outdoors. This anniversary edition marks 15 years of Crossboule and is arranged as a complete set for 3 players. The aim is to place Crossboules as close as possible to the target ball, while clever placement and well-judged throws can also collect combo points. Because the balls are made for this 3-dimensional style of play, routes do not need a flat pitch or a marked court. Everyday surroundings become part of the match, and each new location changes the lines, distances and obstacles that shape the next throw. A game on steps plays differently from a round across benches or along a sloped path, which keeps each session fresh while staying easy to set up. Crossboule c³ suits quick matches in the park, active rounds on a trip, or spontaneous play at home when a room, hallway or courtyard offers enough space to build a course.

Beasty Bar - New Beasts in Town
601105156€14.99
Beasty Bar New Beasts in Town turns the queue outside Heaven's Gate into a fast card game of timing, position and animal instinct. Designed by Stefan Kloß and Anna Oppolzer, with illustrations by Alexander Jung, this standalone sequel brings 12 new guests into the scramble for the best places on the red carpet, with every card showing a distinct animal and a numbered strength from 1 to 12. The core system stays easy to follow while opening room for sharp tactical play. Each player takes a 12-card set in 1 colour, starts with 4 cards in hand and draws from a personal stack as the round continues. Cards are played into the Drangelmeile, where their actions can replace, reorder, copy or push rivals back before the line is checked. The reference sheets help keep the animal powers visible during play, and the recurring effects on cards such as Tiger and Llama keep the queue moving even after the turn that placed them. The game is for 2-4 players and carries an 8Y+ age marking. Every session can stay self-contained or link with the original Beasty Bar. Combined play brings all 24 animals from both games together, letting each player build a personal set from the 2 boxes while keeping the 1 to 12 value structure intact. That modular format suits quick rematches, changing card mixes and table rounds where the line outside the bar never settles for long. Author: Stefan Kloß

Beasty Bar - Down Under
601105209€14.99
Beasty Bar - Down Under brings the queue-jostling card game into an underwater setting where 2-4 players compete to move sea creatures toward Heaven's Gate. Each round turns on card placement and timing: cards join the back of the line, effects resolve, and once 5 animals are waiting, the 2 at the front slip into the bar while the last is thrown out. That structure keeps the table in motion and gives every play immediate consequences. This 4th Beasty Bar episode is a standalone card game and also connects with other Beasty Bar editions. The set contains 56 large playing cards, 2 overview sheets and a rules set, with 13 sea creatures introducing new interactions to the series. Designed for ages 8 and up, the family game has a playing time of about 20 minutes and supports German and English. Authors Stefan Kloß and Anna Oppolzer shape the tactical flow, while illustrations from Alexander Jung give each creature a distinct comic presence. Specific animal effects create the pressure in the queue. The manta uses a diversionary move, the eel slips into narrow gaps, and the swordfish fights for position, so turns hinge on reading the line and choosing the right moment. On a family table, during a game night, or mixed with other Beasty Bar decks for a broader card pool, Beasty Bar - Down Under keeps each session fast, interactive and full of shifting positions. Author: Anna Oppolzer and Stefan Kloß

Beasty Bar
601105155€14.99
Beasty Bar turns a simple line of waiting animals into a sharp, funny card game where every move can change who gets into the club. In the Jostling area, cards build a queue toward Heaven's Gate, and whenever 5 animals are waiting, the 2 at the front enter the Beasty Bar while the last card is bounced out. That structure keeps the table state easy to read while giving each turn a clear tactical edge. The set contains 48 animal cards, with 12 animals in each of 4 card colours, plus 2 Heaven's Gate or Bounced cards, 1 Beasty Bar card, 1 THAT'S IT card and 2 reference sheets. Authors Stefan Kloß and Anna Oppolzer build the play around distinct animal actions rather than generic number comparison, and illustrator Alexander Jung gives each creature a strong comic presence that helps the effects stay memorable. A lion pushes straight to the front, a parrot sends any animal away, and a chameleon copies another species in the line for a single action. Points are tied to the animals that make it into the bar, so card strength and timing do not always point in the same direction. With 2 to 4 players and a playing time of around 20 minutes, the queue keeps changing between turns as recurring actions continue to trigger and the order at Heaven's Gate shifts again. Beasty Bar suits lively rounds at the table where quick decisions, reading card effects and watching the line closely matter from the first animal to the final scoring. Author: Stefan Kloß

Beasty Bar Born to be wild
601105143€14.99
Beasty Bar Born to Be Wild sends another wave of unruly guests toward the red carpet outside the legendary bar. This card game for 2-4 players uses the familiar Beasty Bar rules, so rounds start quickly while the new deck brings its own energy through 12 new beasts and 1 returning character. At about 20 minutes, the play time suits a fast rematch as the queue shifts again. The set contains 56 large playing cards and 2 overview sheets, giving the table a clear view of values, symbols and effects during play. The large card format supports quick reading when positions change and special abilities interrupt the line. Designed by Stefan Kloß and Anna Oppolzer, the game builds on the cult Beasty Bar collection while staying fully playable on its own. Illustration by Alexander Jung shapes the purple club atmosphere with sharply drawn animal personalities, from smug stares to chaotic entrances, so each card effect lands with visual character as well as tactical impact. Born to Be Wild also opens the door to wider deck combinations, because all animals from the extended Beasty Bar line can be mixed together. That makes it easy to bring this box to a games night, play it on its own, or fold it into earlier Beasty Bar rounds for a larger cast and new queue drama. 8+ marks the recommended age.

Mini Geistesblitz (in metal tin)
601105140€5.99
Geistes Blitz Mini packs the sharp visual tension of Jacques Zeimet's reaction game into a compact travel format with a round metal tin, 60 cards and 5 wooden figures. Each turn starts with one card flipped at the center, and the table has to read color and shape in a split second while hands race toward the right figure. The mechanism gives every card a clear twist. If one object appears in its original color, that exact figure must be grabbed at once. If neither shown object matches its original color, the correct choice is the figure whose shape and color are both absent from the card. This simple rule creates fast shifts between direct recognition and elimination logic, so observation and quick decisions matter on every turn. The wooden ghost, book, bottle, mouse and chair are large enough to read clearly in the middle of the table, which keeps the action immediate even with a full group of 2 to 8 players. With an age recommendation of 8+ and a playing time of 20 to 30 minutes, the mini edition suits short rounds on trips, at family gatherings or between larger game sessions. The small tin stores the full set neatly and keeps Geistes Blitz ready for play away from the shelf.

Heckmeck Extrawurm
601105081€14.99
Heckmeck Extrawurm adds new twists to the well-known Heckmeck dice game and keeps every roll under pressure with extra portions, specialist figures and a custom yellow die. This expansion can only be played with the original Heckmeck base game, turning familiar rounds into a tighter race for worms as the table fills with new effects and shifting chances. The set adds 2 fried worm portions with the values 11 and 13, 7 additional grilled fried worms and 5 specialists that each change a turn in a different way. The mother hen protects against attacks from fellow players, the weasel allows dice to be taken back, the raven gathers grill worms, the can worm replaces the harder-to-roll grill worm and the golden die raises the chance of gaining extra worms. Each player may hold only 1 specialist at a time, so timing matters as much as luck. Reiner Knizia is named as the game author, and Doris Matthäus is named on the game presentation. With play for 2-7 players and an age recommendation of 8+, Heckmeck Extrawurm suits lively family game sessions where quick decisions, changing odds and direct interaction keep the table engaged. A round can swing fast when a specialist changes hands or an extra worm portion comes into reach, making this expansion a strong choice for fans who already know the base game.

Heckmeck Deluxe
601105073€24.99
Heckmeck Deluxe packs Heckmeck am Bratwurmeck, Heckmeck Extrawurm and a new mini-expansion into 1 metal tin, turning the well-known chicken dice game into a fuller table setup for 2-7 players aged 8Y+. A round can stay quick at 20-30 minutes, while the numbered grill and worm symbols keep every roll focused on exact scoring. The core system uses 8 white dice with faces 1-5 and a worm. After each roll, players set aside all dice of 1 chosen value, total the points, and continue only with the remaining dice; each worm counts as 5 points, and at least 1 worm is needed for a valid claim. The 18 roasted worm portions cover 11, 13 and 21-36, which creates a broad scoring ladder with low values that must be hit exactly. A failed attempt can send the top collected portion back to the grill and turn the highest available portion face down, so risk stays present until a turn is banked. Heckmeck Deluxe also adds 7 round Bratworms and 6 specialists that alter scoring and timing. The golden die can join as a 9th die, the canned worm counts as a dice worm when no worm appears in the result, and the weasel allows 1 re-roll of the dice just thrown. Around the table, these effects create lively swings between cautious stopping, bold extra rolls and well-timed steals from visible stacks. Author: Reiner Knizia. Illustration: Doris Matthaus.

Niagara
601124900€29.99
Niagara turns a treasure hunt into a moving river race, where canoes drift on transparent discs and every paddle card changes more than a single boat. For 3 to 5 players aged 8 and up, the current itself becomes part of every decision as the river carries each canoe closer to the waterfall while gemstones wait along the banks. Game author Thomas Liesching builds the tension through a mechanism that links personal movement with the shared flow of the stream. A turn is not only about pushing a canoe forward; the chosen paddle card also affects the tempo of the river, so one move can open a route, expose a rival or leave a loaded canoe in danger. Thieves add another layer to the contest by threatening rich captures before they reach shore. The 30–45 minute playing time keeps the table active, with shifting positions, changing risks and constant pressure around the best moment to collect or retreat. Spiel des Jahres 2005, the German critics' prize for board games, underlines the game's distinctive design. On the table, the transparent discs and canoe pieces make the downstream pull easy to read at a glance, while the gemstone hunt keeps every trip to the riverbank tense. Family game rounds reward timing, nerve and careful observation as fortunes can change quickly near the falls.

Sushi Go
601105074€13.99
Sushi Go! turns card drafting into a fast race for the most rewarding sushi menu. In each round, 3-5 players receive a hand of cards, choose 1 at the same time, reveal it, and pass the rest along like a conveyor belt. That simple sequence keeps the table moving while every pick matters, because the strongest score comes from combining the right dishes rather than collecting the most cards. Different card types score in different ways, which gives each hand a fresh puzzle. Tempura and sashimi depend on matching sets, nigiri can gain extra value with wasabi, and dessert cards can change the balance across the game. The age recommendation is 8+, making the rules accessible while still leaving room for careful timing and table awareness. Phil Walker-Harding designed the game around quick decisions and visible card play, so players can track which combinations are still open and which dishes are already disappearing into other menus. The compact card format suits a game night, a short break, or a travel bag with equal ease. A full session plays through 3 rounds, making Sushi Go! easy to bring back to the table for a rematch as soon as the last scores are counted. The humorous sushi artwork and bright card faces keep the action easy to read while the passing hands create a lively rhythm from the first selection to the final reveal.

Das wurmt
601105201€8.99
Das Wurmt is a family card game for 2 to 5 players in which hidden card values make worms grow one turn at a time. The central decision is numerical and immediate: points are earned when a worm reaches a total length of 10, 11 or 12, while totals above 12 cost points, so each played card carries both opportunity and risk. The deck contains 110 playing cards, and the rules create a clear sequence of play. A worm card is placed head up onto a matching worm, then the previous head is revealed and the visible card values are added to determine the new total. If the result lands below 10, the worm stays in play; if it reaches the scoring range, the revealed card goes to the positive side of the score area; if it exceeds 12, that card moves to the negative side. Action cards add further control by removing a visible worm card, refilling a hand to 5 cards, bringing a new worm into play, or letting a player look under a worm head before committing a move. Robert Brouwer designed the game, and Doris Matthäus gives the cards a lively illustrated cast of worms, insects and garden details. About 20 minutes of play keeps rounds brisk, with enough turns for timing, memory and risk reading to matter. The bilingual DE/GB edition works well for family tables, game nights and travel-friendly sessions where a compact card format and fast scoring help the next round start quickly.

Geistesblitz 5 vor 12
601105054€19.99
Geistesblitz 5 vor 12 turns a table into a split-second race of eyes, hands and quick decisions. This reaction game for 2-8 players, ages 8 and up, uses 9 wooden figures and 63 cards to keep every reveal tense, funny and mentally busy as players scan colors, objects and mirror effects at once. The basic rule starts with a card turned so all players see it together. If an object appears in its original color, that matching figure must be grabbed with 1 hand. If no figure is shown in its original color, the correct choice is the figure that is neither pictured nor represented by its original color on the card. Geistesblitz 5 vor 12 then adds extra layers: when ghost and clock appear together, the shown time is called instead of grabbing. Advanced rules bring in mirrored figures, owl-triggered callouts and combinations where the reflected figure's color must be named. Author Jacques Zeimet and illustrator Gabriela Silveira shape these changing tasks into a game that rewards concentration, visual comparison and fast switching between actions. Rounds move quickly, making the game easy to bring to family game nights, mixed-age groups and lively gatherings with up to 8 players. The changing rule set keeps the same deck fresh across repeated sessions, whether the table sticks to the base game or adds the tougher variants for a sharper challenge.

Menara
601105101€31.99
Menara is a cooperative building game in which 1-4 players raise a jungle temple from pillars and irregular temple floors while trying to keep the whole structure standing. The central tension comes from the tower itself: every added support changes the load across the upper levels, so a steady hand and clear coordination matter on every turn. The box contains 18 temple floors, 76 columns in 5 colors, 40 construction parchments, 1 camp and 1 cotton bag. Construction cards determine what has to happen next, and each new requirement can force a different approach to spacing, height and support. A careless move does not simply end the round; it increases the challenge, because mistakes mean another floor must be added to the temple. That rule gives the game a distinctive rhythm, with the group constantly weighing risk against progress while the structure grows more demanding. At the table, Menara creates a focused mix of discussion, precision and suspense as players study open spaces, hand over the right columns and decide where the next level can hold. With a playing time of around 45 minutes, the rising temple provides a substantial cooperative challenge while its nooks, crannies and uneven platforms make the finished structure as striking to look at as it is difficult to complete. Menara - Rituals & Ruins
601105153€21.99
Menara Rituals & Ruins extends the cooperative building game Menara with new temple parts, new rule cards and a scenario system that changes how each structure comes together. The expansion is playable only with the Menara base game and brings the cursed temple back under a solar eclipse, where every added floor and every drawn card can shift the balance of the whole build. Inside the box are 35 columns, 2 golden columns, 8 temple floors, 30 construction plans, 13 Ritual cards, 26 Fate cards, 12 Tear tokens and 1 bag. Oliver Richtberg is named as the game author, with illustration by Sebastien Caiveau. The new temple floors introduce fresh layouts, while the Ritual cards and Fate cards alter the conditions around placement, planning and recovery. Golden columns come with their own restrictions, and the Tears of the Gods add another layer of tension when a scenario calls for them. With 13 rituals and countless scenario combinations, the expansion opens a broad range of setups without changing the cooperative core of Menara. Sessions can be tailored to the group by choosing a scenario and deciding which modules join the base game. Solo builders and teams of up to 4 can take on the temple together, adjusting the challenge through the selected floors, cards and special elements across 45-90 minutes.

Ananda
601105197€34.99
Ananda combines strategic board play with a striking 3D temple that rises tile by tile in the middle of the table. For 2 to 4 players aged 10 and above, each round turns colored building tiles into connected areas, corridors and gardens where monk figures seek the strongest positions and meditation cards convert planning into karma points. The design from Dirk Barsuhn centers on placement with consequence: tiles come from each player's supply and must be added to the shared structure in ways that shape later turns for everyone. That shared build creates constant interaction, because every new level can open tactical options for one side while blocking another. The set contains 63 building tiles, 108 meditation cards, 4 monk figures, 4 holding racks, 2 overview cards and 1 gameboard. Illustration by Matthias Holländer gives the temple setting a calm visual rhythm with soft colors, while the layered construction keeps the board state easy to read as the structure grows. A full game lasts about 45 minutes, making Ananda a strong fit for an evening round at the table with family or friends. As the last tiles are placed, the scoring race tightens around karma points from meditation cards, so the final turns reward sharp timing, spatial awareness and close attention to rival plans. Das Schloss der 7 Schlösser
601105204€29.99
Das Schloss der 7 Schlösser sets a castle puzzle on a raised gameboard where 8 keys face 7 locks and only careful deduction reveals the route to the hidden treasure chambers. In each round, the keymaster makes his way from tower to tower, asking for the one key that fits, so every choice depends on reading the clues built into the board and components. The puzzle works through both sight and sound. Players judge the visible shape and apparent length of a key, then test it to discover its true reach inside a tower lock. At the same time, the treasure chambers make lock depth audible whenever more pearls sink inside, turning each attempt into fresh information for the next decision. The set contains 1 gameboard, 8 castle towers, 8 treasure chambers, 8 keys, 8 coats of arms, 1 keymaster, 1 die, 1 pearl bin, 4 collection boxes and 80 pearls. Carlo A. Rossi designed the game and Folko Streese gave the castle, keys and chambers their storybook look. With 2 to 4 players, ages 8+, and a play time of about 30 minutes, the game suits focused family rounds where comparing clues matters as much as quick guesses. Around the table, towers are opened, pearls are collected into the boxes and the race for the throne builds through each correct conclusion.

Die Trödler aus den Highlands
601105190€29.99
die Trödler aus den Highlands sends 2-4 players onto trading routes through the Scottish Highlands, where sharp observation and tactical card use decide which villages can be reached and which deliveries score at the right moment. The central mechanism starts with several piles of cards placed in the middle of the table, and each turn depends on drawing from the right pile after watching closely how the stacks were built. The route cards do more than move carts across the board. Hidden bridges, ferries and moor paths create openings that can change a planned delivery, while 48 goods keep the board state in motion as requests are fulfilled for points. Feed adds another layer to the decisions around the horse, because pushing transport too far can benefit opponents instead of securing the lead. Carlo A. Rossi designed this family game, and Dennis Lohausen gives the Highlands setting its lively villages, waterways and market scenes. The box contains 110 playing cards, 4 cart figures, 1 horse figure and 1 gameboard. A session runs for about 45 minutes, making it well suited to an evening round where route reading, hand management and timing stay in focus from start to finish. With DE, EN, FR and IT rules included, the game also fits multilingual tables where the same board and components can return for repeated matchups. Author: Carlo A. Rossi

Flitze Flatze Bärentatze
601105211€29.99
Flitze Flatze Bärentatze turns a salmon race into a constantly changing river puzzle for 2 to 4 players aged 6Y+. Picture cards are placed in the centre of the board so they overlap, rotate the shared image and decide which salmon remain visible enough to swim onward toward their spawning grounds. That shifting layout gives the game its distinctive mechanism. Every new card changes more than one route at once, because tributaries can open, narrow or become blocked as the layers build up. Progress depends on reading the visible paths at the right moment and placing a card where it helps one salmon while slowing another. Babbel the Bear adds another moving obstacle by prowling from river to river and stopping fish that stray into reach. The result is a children's game with simple rules, but with planning, overview and tactical timing in every round. Around the table, the shared river picture keeps all eyes on the centre as salmon appear, disappear and re-emerge with each placement. Short turns and changing routes suit family game sessions where younger and older players can follow the action together while still finding room for clever moves.

Geistesblitz Happy Birthday
601105226€5.99
Geistesblitz Happy Birthday brings 2 fast reaction classics together in one travel-ready card game set. The 55 playing cards and 1 cake piece open up Geistesblitz, Geistesblitz 2.0 and a combined Super-Blitz style mix, where quick recognition and instant decisions drive every round. With 2-8 players, 20-30 minutes of play time and an 8+ age recommendation, the game drops easily into family evenings, holiday packing and spontaneous rounds between other activities. A new birthday rule built around the cake changes the flow at key moments and adds another layer of visual pressure to the familiar object hunt. The set was created by Jacques Zeimet and illustrated by Gabriela Silveira, whose bold motifs keep bottles, books, ghosts, mice, chairs and cake symbols clear at a glance when hands move fast. Rules for 2 game variants are included, and the card pool can be used separately or combined depending on the group and the pace on the table. The compact format suits café tables, train journeys and game shelves where space matters, while the short rules explanation helps a round start quickly. Original wooden figures from Geistesblitz can also be added to make the action even wilder and extend the birthday session into a fuller table game.

Geistesblitz Würfelblitz
601105141€16.99
Geistesblitz Würfelblitz turns the table into a fast-moving race of eyes, hands and quick decisions. 5 dice, 5 gripping figures and 35 wooden discs create a compact reaction game where every throw can shift the answer in an instant, with ghost, book, bottle, armchair and mouse waiting in the middle of the table. The rule system changes according to the rolled combination. When 1 figure appears most often, the matching colour leads to the die that shows the figure to grab. When 2 figures appear twice and 1 appears once, the single figure becomes the target. If all 5 dice show different figures, the die hiding Geist Balduin points to the colour that decides the correct piece. This structure keeps observation, counting and rapid symbol recognition active in every round. Jacques Zeimet created the game, with illustrations by Gabriela Silveira. A 15-minute session suits quick rematches and lively game nights with 2-8 players. The wooden pieces are easy to place in a circle at the centre, so the action starts with a clear shared play area and ends when the supply of discs is gone and the highest score wins. Geistesblitz-2
601105019€14.99
Geistesblitz 2.0 is a fast reaction game by Jacques Zeimet that turns 60 cards and 5 table figures into a lively test of observation, logic and speed. A tub, a brush, a towel, a frog and Babette gather in the middle of the table, and each revealed card forces an instant decision between what is shown, what is missing and which color actually matters. The core rule starts with original colors: when a figure appears in its true color, that figure is the target. When no figure is shown in its original color, the correct answer becomes the figure whose shape is absent and whose original color is also absent. The advanced variants keep changing that logic. If a frog appears on the card, the target is no longer grabbed but called out. If the target is shown in its original color during the frog variant, the call must be made in a foreign language chosen before play. Towel cards add another twist by making the towel color determine the searched figure. Gabriela Silveira's illustrations give each card a clear, playful look that supports split-second reading at the table. Rounds work with all players reacting at the same time, and the winner is the player with the most cards when the deck is used up. Geistesblitz 2.0 also works as a standalone game, while a separate combined mode with Geistesblitz opens additional rules for mixed play. Ages 8 and up. Made in Germany.

Gigi Gacker
601105178€8.99
Gigi Gacker is a card game for 2-5 players in which young chickens compete for the best worms across 9 rounds of simultaneous choices. Each round reveals a fresh row from the draw pile, and the value played decides which position in that row goes into hand first, turning every reveal into a quick contest of timing, nerve and reading the menu on the table. The set combines 36 worm cards with values from 1 to 8, 25 pullet cards in 5 colors with values from 3 to 7, 9 mother-hen cards and 1 tractor card. The goal is to finish with the highest total value of worm cards in hand, while pullets, mother hens and cards in the personal discard pile do not count. Ties are not left hanging either: if players match on worm value, the win goes to the one with fewer hand cards. In the 2-player game, a Robo-chicken joins the action with unused pullet cards, removes the cards it wins from play, and takes the tractor card every third round. With a recommended age of 8+ and a play time of about 30 minutes, Gigi Gacker suits family tables, after-school rounds and travel-friendly game nights. Languages DE/GB support mixed-language households, and the compact card-based format keeps setup light while still leaving room for sharp tactical swings until the ninth round. Author: Robert Brouwer

Gigi Gacker am Würfelacker
601105222€14.99
Gigi Gacker am Würfelacker turns a noisy chicken buffet into a fast family dice game where every roll can reshuffle the pecking order. Designed by Robert Brouwer and illustrated by Doris Matthäus, it pits 2-5 players against one another over worm morsels while keeping the rules focused and the table lively for about 20 minutes. The round structure gives each player 3 dice of one colour and spreads decisions across 3 turns instead of a single throw. At the start of a round, as many worm morsels are revealed as there are players and placed in a buffet row. After the 1st turn, 1 die is kept aside; on the 2nd and 3rd turns, a player can either keep an earlier result unchanged or reroll the remaining dice before setting another die aside. The 25 worm morsels carry values from -2 to 6, so collected tiles can score positively or negatively and also fuel actions. During later turns, a spent morsel can swap 2 buffet positions, reverse the whole row by 180°, or stand in for the 3rd die. When all players have finished their 3 turns, dice totals decide who claims the buffet positions, and ties are resolved from the starting player. The wooden worm marks that starting role and passes clockwise into the next round. A dedicated 2-player mode adds a robo chicken with 3 extra dice, so the contest keeps its crowded buffet feel even with a smaller group. Author: Robert Brouwer

601133500€39.99
Hamsterrolle centres the action on a large upright ring filled with colourful wooden pieces, creating a balancing game where every move changes the tension on the table. With 2 to 4 players and an age recommendation of 7 years and up, each round invites careful placement, close attention and a steady hand as the structure shifts with every added shape. The distinctive circular construction gives Hamsterrolle its visual identity and its mechanism at the same time: pieces are placed onto the ring arrangement, and the changing weight distribution affects what can follow. The set uses differently shaped components rather than identical counters, so position and fit matter from move to move. Jacques Zeimet is named as the game author, and the physical setup stands out through the combination of the yellow ring and multicoloured wooden elements. A game lasts around 30–40 minutes. On a family games night, the upright ring quickly becomes the focus as players study gaps, test balance and react to the last placement. The format suits shorter sessions as well as repeat rounds, because the visible structure on the table changes throughout play and keeps the challenge easy to read at a glance.

Käpt'n Memo
601105221€29.99
Käpt'n Memo turns a pirate voyage into a tense memory challenge on the Memorian Sea. For 2 to 5 players aged 8+ and with a playtime of about 30 minutes, the game builds its action on a 7 x 7 sea grid where routes are not rolled or drawn, but steered card by card. Each voyage puts a different player at the bow, aiming to uncover 5 treasure troves while avoiding repeated dangers that capsize the ship. The course is shaped through a clear sequence: the captain reveals the card in front of the bow, moves the ship onto that space, then points the bow toward the next face-down card. The ship never sails diagonally, the saber space in the middle cannot be entered, and long-distance sailing only happens when no adjacent face-down card remains. Telescopes can be spent to secretly inspect 1 face-down sea card, while ruby cards can only be collected when enough treasure troves are already visible in the sea. That link between revealed treasure and ruby value gives the memory play a tactical edge beyond simple matching. Sailors are never passive passengers. After each new course is set, they choose whether to remain on board, jump off for doubloons based on visible treasure troves, or grab the saber and attempt a mutiny before the next reveal. A successful mutiny ends the voyage with a barrel reward, while a failed one throws the mutineer overboard empty-handed. Tobias Tesar created the game concept, and Felix Wermke gives the sea, ship and hazards their lively pirate look at the table.

Mach die Flatter
601105203€14.99
Mach die Flatter is a fast-moving children's game for 2 to 5 players aged 6+ in which colourful parrots keep changing places across 5 landing spots. Observation and memory stay at the centre of every turn, because the visible layout never stands still for long and the most valuable feathers go to the players who read the shifting table at the right moment. The game uses 67 cards in total: 32 parrot cards, 10 binoculars cards and 25 location cards, plus 72 feathers for scoring. A turn begins by revealing the top card. When a parrot card appears, it lands on an empty spot or covers another bird, but not one of the same type; after that, a different parrot must flutter to another landing spot under the same restriction. When a binoculars card appears, all players secretly choose a location card to show where they believe that colour combination has gathered. The good-luck bird can add 1 feather at the chosen spot, while the bad-luck bird can cost 1 feather instead. Because parrots stack on top of each other, the board state becomes harder to read with every round, creating lively table talk and focused pauses before each reveal. The final scoring adds another layer, as each player tries to locate the highest concentration of the parrot shown on the secret binoculars card. Game author Luís Dinis and illustrator Dennis Lohausen shape the play with a clear ruleset and vivid bird artwork that keeps every landing spot easy to scan at a glance.

Maxi Bamboleo
601120400€199.00
Maxi Bamboleo turns balance into the whole challenge with a wooden base, a cork ball and a freely moving plate loaded with wooden pieces. Each turn focuses on a single careful action: remove 1 shape while the board keeps swinging above the cork support, and keep the whole construction in equilibrium as the tension rises around the table. The giant Maxi design gives the game a strong visual presence, so shifts in weight and movement stay easy to read for everyone involved. The mechanism is simple and direct: the plate rests on the cork ball, the wooden parts sit across that unstable surface, and every lifted piece changes how the board hangs and reacts. That clear physical feedback supports concentration, hand control and close observation without adding complicated rules. The game is made for 2 to 6 players aged 6 years and up, with a playing time of around 10-20 minutes. Around a table or at an outdoor event, Maxi Bamboleo creates a round where every reach, pause and lift becomes part of the action. The larger format helps the balancing act read clearly in group settings, while the natural wood pieces and moving plate keep the focus on touch, timing and the visible pull of gravity.

Mirakel Mix
601105187€29.99
Mirakel Mix is a children's game for 2-4 players aged 6 and above, built around an original cauldron that turns potion mixing into the central action at the table. Each turn sends players into a labyrinthine cave where flame walls, lightning grids, poison pits and monster crypts block the direct route, so progress depends on brewing the right combination and finding a clear path back to daylight. The physical setup gives the game its own character. The set contains 1 original Mirakel Mix cauldron, 3 magic bowls, 1 cave gameboard, 36 game cards, 18 balls, 40 disks and 4 wooden figures. The cauldron drum is turned to mix ingredients and produce a distilled selection of drops, while the flasks and bowls show which players contributed to a successful mixture. That shared brewing step creates a lively link between luck, timing and route choice, because only the contributing players can advance through the cave. A well-timed final drop can also unlock magical shortcuts past obstacles that would otherwise hold the figures back. With an approximate 30 minute duration, Mirakel Mix suits focused game rounds where the table can follow each mixture, each blocked passage and each sudden opening in the cave map. Leo Colovini and Teodoro Mitidieri shape the race through the labyrinth around potion recipes and movement, while Folko Streese's illustration gives the apprentices, hazards and magical ingredients a vivid fantasy setting. Pearls from poseidon
601105174€29.99
Designed for 2-4 players aged 8 and above, this treasure-themed game requires you to search for a set of hidden pearls. To begin with, a stamping block is used to reveal the contours of mystical objects on the ocean floor. Using treasure cards, the players must then decipher the exact positions and names of the various pearls and collect as many Poseidon coins as possible. The game is played on a nautograph – an essential piece of equipment in any underwater treasure hunt. To set up the game, a piece of paper with a hidden template is inserted into the board. The players then take turns to choose a coordinate and use the stamp to uncover a section of the mysterious underwater world. Step by step, the secrets of Poseidon’s treasure world are gradually revealed with each stamp. The contours of the stamps indicate the presence of a pearl, the exact position of which is shown on two treasure cards. The treasure cards can also be used to decipher the names of the pearls. The player who collects the most Poseidon coins by uncovering the positions of the pearls and guessing their names correctly is the winner. This thrilling treasure-themed game is perfect for an entertaining evening with family or friends – decipher the clues and see who can collect the most pearls!

Rauf und runter
601105180€19.99
Rauf und Runter turns a chicken ladder climb into a fast family dice game where every round balances momentum, timing and nerve. Designed for 2-5 players aged 8 and above, the game runs for about 30 minutes and uses a flutter number to show how much speed a chicken needs before the climb begins. The mechanism stays easy to follow while leaving room for tactical choices. 5 dice are rolled to build the right combination, and the result decides whether a chicken climbs, stalls or slips back down the ladder. Feathers are not just decoration in this race; they can be given up to cushion a risky move and keep a run going. The box contents support that changing board state with 10 chickens, 16 ladder cards, 5 flutter tracks, 35 feathers, 1 dung-heap card and 5 dice. Andreas Kuhnekath-Häbler created the game, and Doris Matthäus gives the farmyard scramble its expressive look with lively chicken characters and clear visual cues on the table. Around the table, turns move quickly because each roll creates an immediate decision between caution and speed. The multilingual edition includes DE, GB, FR and IT, making it easy to bring into mixed-language game groups or family rounds where the chicken race, the shifting ladder positions and the feather trade-offs keep everyone watching the next throw. Silencio
601105142€8.99
Silencio is a cooperative card game built around one strict twist: the whole team plays together in complete silence. With 2-4 players and an age recommendation of 10+, each round becomes a focused challenge of reading timing, card values and the changing state of the table while no spoken hints are allowed. On a turn, 1 card is played to the row of its colour, and that card must rank higher than the last card already in that row. The tension comes from the distance between values, because the effect changes depending on whether the new card follows directly after the previous one or skips ahead. That mechanism gives every decision weight and makes hand management matter from the first play onward. The shared goal is not simply to finish a turn sequence, but to use those effects skillfully enough to play as many cards as possible as a team. A playing time of about 15 minutes keeps the challenge compact and encourages immediate rematches with the same group or a new table mix. Silencio suits game nights that call for a cooperative format with a clear ruleset, fast setup and a strong communication twist carried entirely by the cards. Author: César Gómez

Stich für Stich
601105183€19.99
STICH FÜR STICH combines trick-taking with crime deduction in a card game where 1 player knows the hidden trump cards for the culprit and the murder weapon. Across 7 tricks per case, the table works clue by clue through a tense investigation, with every played card pushing the sleuths closer to a verdict or further into the fog. The game is designed for 3-4 players aged 10 and above and runs for about 30 minutes. Its 55 game cards drive the trick play, while 16 suspect tiles, 28 weapon tiles, 4 racks and 1 investigation pad give each case a clear tabletop structure. Several criminal cases are played one after another, and the hidden-knowledge role shifts until all players have taken the part of the accomplice. That changing role creates a different task from case to case: mislead the table when holding the secret, then read the card flow and visible clues when returning to the investigation side. Markus W. Leon created the game, and Felix Wermke gives the suspects, evidence and weapons a playful crime-story look. STICH FÜR STICH suits a family game round, a friends' game night or a focused table session with players who enjoy deduction under pressure. The multilingual edition includes DE, GB, FR and IT, making it easy to bring to mixed-language groups or travel play sessions.

Tobago
601105152€34.99
Tobago combines deduction, movement and treasure hunting on a modular island where every clue changes the search. For 2 to 4 players aged 10 years and up, the game uses torn treasure map fragments and clue cards to narrow possible treasure sites until a single hex remains and the race to claim the find begins. The 3-part board forms up to 32 different island worlds, with jungles, mountains, beaches, huts, palms, statues and lagoons arranged in changing layouts. Each treasure trail develops through played clues that must fit the existing information while still leaving at least one valid location on the map. ATVs move across the island in legs, with terrain changes shaping the route and the sea staying off limits. Once a treasure site is fixed, the first ATV to reach it raises the treasure, but the reward is not simply taken. Gold cards are distributed among the players who contributed clues, so timing, positioning and participation all matter. Some treasures are cursed, which gives amulets a second role beyond collection. Amulets can be picked up during play and spent for concrete effects such as removing a site marker, adding an extra clue, taking an extra move or exchanging clue cards. That mix creates tense turns around statues, narrow routes and nearly solved treasure trails, where one card or one move can shift the outcome. Bruce Allen is named as the game author, with illustrations and layout by Victor Boden. Author: Bruce Allen

Trainsilvania
601105170€19.99
Trainsilvania sends 2-4 players onto a bustling night ride where monsters need to reach their home stations before dawn. The central Night Express creates a lively board presence, and the hidden monster stickers under the 16 seats add uncertainty from the first turn, because nobody knows which creature is sitting where at the start. The learning effect appears early in play through observation, memory and timing. Each player manages 9 train tickets in a personal draw pile, keeps 3 cards in hand, and chooses actions that move the train clockwise, bring a monster aboard, let one leave, or shift a passenger to the front. A pumpkin card works as a wild card for any listed action. The race stays tight because only 3 monsters can ride at the same time, so a newly boarded seat can force the rearmost passenger out at the current station. Victory comes the moment 3 own monsters stand at their correct stations. The set contains 1 Trainsilvania Night Express, 36 tickets, 16 seats and 1 game board. Around the table, turns stay active as positions change quickly and every station stop can reveal new information under a seat. Paco Yanez and illustrator Gabriela Silveira shape a children's game that mixes movement, deduction and cheerful monster chaos in a playing time of around 15 minutes. Author: Paco Yanez

Über den Wolken
601105207€24.99
Über den Wolken turns the annual journey south into a tactical board game where every launch position matters. Across 2 game boards with 2 board extensions, 2-4 players arrange female and male migratory birds, watch the shifting order in the flock and try to send the right birds into the air at the right moment, creating a table scene filled with birds, cards and colored cubes above a cloud-bright board. The game uses a limited pool of action markers, and the cost of choosing the same action again rises, which gives each round a clear resource puzzle. Maneuver cards add further control over positions in the sky, while the changing flight routes keep one session from settling into a fixed pattern. The component set supports that tactical structure with 64 playing cards, 25 bird tiles, 64 action cubes and 4 score markers. A reference card shown in the game layout also points to combination scoring, including values for grouped birds and a female plus male pairing worth 6 points. Konstantinos Karagiannis designed the mechanism, and Alexander Jung gives the flock, clouds and bird forms a calm, airy visual identity. With a playing time of 45 minutes, the game fits focused weeknight sessions as well as longer table rounds with 3 or 4 players. The shifting balance between front-row departures and profitable late positions keeps the table talk active as each move changes the options still open in the flock.

Volles Fass voraus
601105192€29.99
Volles Fass voraus turns a seafaring trade run into a tightly timed board game, where every anchorage matters and every barrel needs the right place on deck. Across 2-4 players, ships move between ports in search of cheap cargo and lucrative unloading spots, creating a table full of shifting routes, crowded harbours and quick changes in fortune. The 4-piece game board lays out the maritime setting, while 26 harbour tiles keep the network of ports active and varied. Each harbour offers 4 moorings, and that structure drives the central decision: stay longer for stronger conditions, or leave earlier to reach the next port before rivals. Treasure maps and sailors add extra pressure to those choices, especially when pirates and hurricanes enter the contest and force plans to adapt. The box also contains 36 game cards, 45 wooden barrels, 4 wooden money bags and 4 wooden ships, giving the session a clear physical flow between loading, storing and cashing in cargo. Around a dining table, the game creates a focused mix of route planning, timing and competition that suits family game nights from age 10 and up. A playing time of about 40 minutes keeps the pace brisk enough for a rematch, while the multilingual rules in DE, GB, F and I support mixed-language groups. Author Giansimone Migoni and illustrator Dennis Lohausen shape the voyage with a lively harbour atmosphere and readable tabletop presence.

Die Patin
601105185soon available again
Die Patin turns Beasty Town into a sharp contest of influence, where 2-5 players fight for control of neighbourhoods, gullies and shady back rooms over 5 rounds. The board sets the stage for a tense strategy game in which each move changes the balance of power, whether a clan spreads into a new district or blocks an opponent at a key point on the map. The city board is surrounded by a substantial set of tactile components: 20 wooden figures, 190 wooden cubes, 75 wooden sticks, 111 tiles and 15 cards. Players place rats around the gullies to seize surrounding areas, while the boss and 3 henchmen push local businesses toward more profitable back-room dealings. Five missions shape the contest across the game, so success depends on more than simple expansion. Control of the most rat-filled drains, the broadest backroom network and the strongest haul all feed into the final score. Designed by Pim Thunborg and illustrated by Alexander Jung, the game combines clear strategic pressure with a playful crime-parody setting. A session runs at about 30 minutes per player, which gives the shifting board state time to develop as alliances tighten and rival plans collide. Around a living-room table, the mix of wooden pieces, cards and tiles creates a focused game night rhythm built on planning, placement and timely interference. Author: Pim Thunborg

Funkel Munkel
601105205soon available again
Funkel Munkel turns a diamond mine into a lively children's game where hidden movement and sharp observation decide who brings the richest haul back to daylight. Beneath the double-layered game board, minecarts travel through the darkness out of sight, so each turn asks players to track positions carefully while gemstones disappear into the shafts above. The central mechanism creates its own stage effect: 8 deep mine shafts send diamonds down into the underground vehicles, and the carts later emerge carrying their sparkling cargo back out of the tunnel. Because the routes run criss-cross under the board, remembering which cart belongs where matters just as much as choosing when to move. The easy-to-understand introduction keeps the rules approachable, while the hidden paths and shifting cart positions keep the table focused on every action. For 2-4 players aged 4 and up, the short playing time fits neatly into repeat rounds without losing tension. Around the table, each move invites quick glances across the board, careful recall of earlier turns, and excited moments when a cart resurfaces loaded with gems. Funkel Munkel suits family play sessions, children's game afternoons, and short rounds where observation, memory, and a little nerve shape the result.

Geistesblitz
601129800soon available again
Geistesblitz is a fast reaction game for 2 to 8 players aged 8 and up, built around 5 large wooden figures and 60 photo cards. A card is turned so everyone sees it at once, and the table shifts instantly into a race of eyes, hands and quick decisions as the right figure has to be identified before anyone else reaches it. The core rule gives the game its snap. When a figure appears on the card in its original color, that exact figure must be grabbed. When neither pictured figure is shown in its real color, the correct choice is the figure whose shape is missing from the card and whose original color is missing too. That simple switch turns every reveal into a sharp test of observation and logic. The set uses a ghost, chair, bottle, book and mouse, so the visual language stays easy to read even when the pace rises. Jacques Zeimet created the game, and Gabriela Silveira gave the components their distinctive look. A second variant adds another decision layer: if a book appears on the card, nobody grabs and the correct figure must be called out instead. Wrong grabs or wrong calls cost a card, so each turn rewards speed that stays accurate. With a playing time of about 20 minutes, Geistesblitz suits quick rounds at the table and repeat matches where the group learns the patterns while the cards keep the pressure high.

Heckmeck am Bratwurmeck
601125200soon available again
Heckmeck am Bratwurmeck turns 8 wooden dice, numbered tiles and a push-your-luck rhythm into a fast family game for 2-7 players aged 8 and up. Roast worm portions lie on the grill in the middle of the table, and each turn builds from a simple decision: keep the strongest result from a roll, set those dice aside, and decide whether the remaining dice should go back into play. The 16 tiles run from 21 to 36 and show worm values across the range, so scoring is visible at a glance while the target shifts with every successful grab. Because a claimed portion can also be taken from another player's plate, the game keeps changing even when the table looks settled. That mix of open information, repeated rerolls and direct theft gives each turn a brisk tempo without loading the rules with extra systems. The named game author Reiner Knizia shapes the contest around timing, nerve and clean arithmetic rather than long downtime. A round can swing on one last reroll, a held-back symbol or a tile that suddenly changes hands. Around the table, the numbered portions, worm icons and handful of dice keep the action easy to read, whether the game opens a family evening or fills a shorter slot between longer sessions.

Mini Heckmeck am Bratwurmeck packs the cheeky spirit of the popular dice game into a compact travel format with a round metal tin, 8 dice and Bratwurm tiles numbered from 21 to 36. Designed by Reiner Knizia, it fits easily on a café table, train tray or holiday apartment shelf, where every roll pushes the race for the most valuable worm portions forward. The 8+ age marking, 2-7 player range and 20-30 minute playing time give the game a flexible table presence without stretching the session. The numbered tiles create a clear score ladder from 21 up to 36, while the worm symbols on the dice and tiles tie the theme directly into the scoring. The mini format keeps the familiar Heckmeck character intact while reducing the footprint for travel, short breaks and spontaneous rematches. On weekend trips, school holidays or a quick round after dinner, the small tin opens into a lively contest of rolls, timing and nerve. It suits shelves with limited space just as well as a packed day bag, and with a playing time of around 20-30 minutes, repeat rounds fit easily into shorter game sessions.

Nein! Doch! Ohh!
601105215available from October
"Nein! Doch! Ohh!" by Zoch makes the concept of time the centerpiece of a lively party game for children and families. Four hourglasses disappear under cups and continue to run, invisible to everyone. As a colored die is passed around among the 2 to 5 players, the goal is to guess whether the selected hourglass is still running or has already run out. If you’re unsure, you can take a chance and lift the cup. But only the hourglass knows the right answer. It gets especially tricky because the hourglasses are flipped over after each check, and the cups change positions due to the color die. This quickly throws time, place, and memory into disarray. Attention, concentration, and a good sense of time guide players through the approximately 20-minute game. This game by Christoph Cantzler is suitable for players ages 8 and up.

Then the big decision begins: drop out early and secure some victory points, or keep stacking and hope for a bigger reward. With each level, the risk grows, because if the tower topples, those lofty plans are quickly history. The mix of balance and tactical risk-taking ensures about 20 minutes of excitement, laughter, and surprising twists. Thanks to its compact box, Pocket Pisa is perfect for game nights, travel, and quick games in between. Zoch is known for creative, original party games with a touch of whimsy. Kurz vor knapp

In this game, players need good visual judgment. By just looking carefully, without using their hands, everybody tries to figure out which cylinders can be connected by placing bars of various lengths. If it is a player’s turn, they will be assigned a random beam. That player decides which two columns they want to connect. If the player correctly estimated the beam’s length, they are allowed to place new columns from their personal supply into the playing area. Whoever manages to place all their columns first wins. It’s not as easy as all that though! A player may only touch their beam after they have decided which gap they want to bridge. Kurz vor knapp is the elegant building game of visual estimation that requires players to bridge gaps, if they want to build upwards. Author: Helmut Punke, Tobias Punke

When can you start playing family games?
To find out from what age a family game is suitable, you can have a look at the respective age recommendation in the product description. Often, however, children who are under the recommended age can play along as long as an older sibling or adult supports them. Of course, this only applies if the content of the game is age-appropriate.

Intergenerationality
With games for the entire family, it is possible to get all the family members together. Because: The special games are fun for kids as well as for teenagers and adults. So nothing stands in the way of intergenerational fun.
Culture
Whether card, dice, or board game: games have been a tradition for thousands of years and are an important piece of cultural heritage. Did you know, for example, that the well-known game of chess was played as early as 600 AD?
Media timeout
Digital media and devices, especially the smartphone, the pc, and game consoles, have a firm place in the everyday life of most children today. This becomes a problem when daily activities are limited to these media. With family games, you can create a good balance and at the same time ensure that the whole family spends more time together.
Understanding of rules
Developing an understanding of rules is a learning step that all children have to go through eventually. After all, when they start school at the latest, they have to get used to following certain rules. Family games are the best way to prepare your child for this and allow them to become familiar with understanding and following rules in an age-appropriate way.
Language
Playing together with the family involves a lot of laughter, jokes, sharing and occasionally a discussion or two. In this context, your child can develop linguistically and improve his or her skills in this area “along the way”.
Counting
Many family board games involve numbers. So your child can also train his or her understanding of numbers while playing.
Social interaction
As befits family time, family games focus on social interaction. Playing together offers plenty of space for interpersonal communication and thus promotes your child's social skills.
Winning & losing
It is not uncommon for children to be confronted with many feelings while playing. This can be anger about bad luck in the game or pride about a victory. Playing gives your child the opportunity to deal with these emotions in a safe environment.
Promoting concentration
Finally, family games promote your child's ability to concentrate. Because if you want to win, you have to stay attentive and not get distracted too easily.
What makes a good family game?
Since the market for family board games is massive, it is sometimes difficult to get an overview and find out which products are worth buying. To help you choose a high-quality game for the family, the next point deals with the criteria that games should fulfil.
One thing that should be mentioned in advance and that applies in principle is that the game content of a good family game appeals to children as well as young people and adults. Because if this is the case, the game is really suitable to be played by the whole family. To prevent too much frustration and bitter disappointment, the game should have fair chances of winning. In addition, the rules should only be so complex that they can be easily understood by the youngest player. If these points are given, you are probably dealing with a real game hit.
