Heckmeck Deluxe

Heckmeck Deluxe packs Heckmeck am Bratwurmeck, Heckmeck Extrawurm and a new mini-expansion into 1 metal tin, turning the well-known chicken dice game into a fuller table setup for 2-7 players aged 8Y+. A round can stay quick at 20-30 minutes, while the numbered grill and worm symbols keep every roll focused on exact scoring. The core system uses 8 white dice with faces 1-5 and a worm. After each roll, players set aside all dice of 1 chosen value, total the points, and continue only with the remaining dice; each worm counts as 5 points, and at least 1 worm is needed for a valid claim. The 18 roasted worm portions cover 11, 13 and 21-36, which creates a broad scoring ladder with low values that must be hit exactly. A failed attempt can send the top collected portion back to the grill and turn the highest available portion face down, so risk stays present until a turn is banked. Heckmeck Deluxe also adds 7 round Bratworms and 6 specialists that alter scoring and timing. The golden die can join as a 9th die, the canned worm counts as a dice worm when no worm appears in the result, and the weasel allows 1 re-roll of the dice just thrown. Around the table, these effects create lively swings between cautious stopping, bold extra rolls and well-timed steals from visible stacks. Author: Reiner Knizia. Illustration: Doris Matthaus.
