Das Schloss der 7 Schlösser sets a castle puzzle on a raised gameboard where 8 keys face 7 locks and only careful deduction reveals the route to the hidden treasure chambers. In each round, the keymaster makes his way from tower to tower, asking for the one key that fits, so every choice depends on reading the clues built into the board and components. The puzzle works through both sight and sound. Players judge the visible shape and apparent length of a key, then test it to discover its true reach inside a tower lock. At the same time, the treasure chambers make lock depth audible whenever more pearls sink inside, turning each attempt into fresh information for the next decision. The set contains 1 gameboard, 8 castle towers, 8 treasure chambers, 8 keys, 8 coats of arms, 1 keymaster, 1 die, 1 pearl bin, 4 collection boxes and 80 pearls. Carlo A. Rossi designed the game and Folko Streese gave the castle, keys and chambers their storybook look. With 2 to 4 players, ages 8+, and a play time of about 30 minutes, the game suits focused family rounds where comparing clues matters as much as quick guesses. Around the table, towers are opened, pearls are collected into the boxes and the race for the throne builds through each correct conclusion.
