Kleiner Drache Wirbelwind

Kleiner Drache Wirbelwind is a cooperative children's game for 1-5 players aged 4+ in which the group tries to keep the sun shining above the clouds. The goal is clear: get all 4 sun wizards to cloud 7 before 3 rain goblins arrive there first. That shared race gives the table one common task from the first turn and keeps the mood focused on teamwork instead of direct competition. Each turn starts with a weather tile that shows which figure moves on the cloud bridge. The bridge itself is built from 6 wooden boards, joined by a starting cloud and a target cloud, while 11 wooden figures bring the race to life with 4 sun wizards and 7 rain goblins. Movement follows simple forward steps across free cloud spaces, so the game stays approachable while still asking for attention and planning. Josep M. Allué and Dani Gómez designed the game, and Teelke Limbeck created the bright illustrations that shape its sky-high setting. The standout action comes from Whirlwind, a little dragon suspended above the bridge with a cord and pendulum ball. After moving the figures, players aim the swinging ball to knock goblins from the bridge and send them back to the starting cloud. A mistimed swing can also send a wizard back, so every attempt mixes laughter, tension and careful control. With a play time of 20 minutes, Kleiner Drache Wirbelwind fits lively family rounds, children's game afternoons and repeat plays where the group tries to guide the weather race to a sunny finish.
