Alles Tomate!

Alles Tomate! turns a simple card layout into a fast-moving memory challenge where every round changes what was just learned. In this card game for 2 to 8 players, 7 topic cards are laid out with matching yard cards in 7 background colours, then turned over after memorising them, so the table quickly becomes a test of recall, speed and concentration. A yard card is revealed from the pile for all players to see at the same time, and its colour shows which hidden card position matters in that moment. The task is not to name the visible card, but to call out the card lying hidden under the matching topic colour. Because the newly revealed card then takes that place on the table, the information shifts constantly and the next turn asks for a fresh mental map. Each player may call only 1 term per round, which keeps the pace sharp and the decisions immediate. The set contains 56 cards in total, made up of 7 topic cards and 49 yard cards. A game lasts around 15–20 minutes. Farm motifs such as animals, food and everyday barnyard objects give the changing card positions clear visual anchors during play. The rules support lively group sessions at the table, whether 2 players are tracking every swap closely or a full group of 8 is racing to name the right card first. Deutscher Lernspielpreis 2008 recognises the game's learning-focused play. Suitable for players aged 6 and up.
