Pig 10

Pig 10 is a children's card game in which every move circles back to 10. For 2-8 players aged 6+, the deck turns simple addition into a lively race for the pile: play a card, call the new total, and claim the cards in the middle by reaching exactly 10. The moment the total goes over 10, the cards go to the player on the right instead, so each number changes the tension around the table. The rules stay easy to follow while leaving room for clever timing. Each player starts with 3 cards, and after every turn a new card is drawn from the pile, so hands stay active and the calculation never stalls. Pig 10 also adds a few twists to the number play. The frog card sets the pile value back to 0, and a 5 may be used either to add or subtract 5 as long as the total does not drop below 0. Another rule opens extra options when the same card is played as the previous one, or when a card matches the current pile value. Pig 10 was created by Ayelet Pnueli and illustrated by Claudia Stockl. At the table, the game suits short rounds with siblings, classmates or family groups, since the turn structure is direct and the scoring goal is always visible in the middle. Once the draw pile is empty, play continues until all hands are used up, and the player with the most won cards takes the victory.
